AMME 2026 will take place at the Zhengzhou University of Light Industry,  Zhengzhou, China.

The historical origins of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry can be traced back to 1956, when Zhengzhou Electrical School was established by the former Ministry of Light Industry. In 1977, with the approval of the State Council, Zhengzhou Institute of Light Industry was founded, under the administration of the former Ministry of Light Industry. In 1998, the university was transferred to the jurisdiction of the People's Government of Henan Province. The university is jointly built by the People's Government of Henan Province and the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration. It is recognized as a key characteristic backbone university in Henan Province, a pilot university for internationalization in Henan, and a construction university for outstanding engineers in Henan Province.

 

The university firmly adheres to the socialist education orientation, upholds the school motto of "What is done will be done easily, what is not done will be difficult," and the school spirit of "simplicity, pragmatism, and solidity." Rooted in the Central Plains, it leverages its strengths and characteristics, making positive contributions to the high-quality development of the country, region, and industry. Currently, the university has the Science Campus, Dongfeng Campus, and Yuzhou Campus, covering an area of over 2,200 mu. It employs more than 2,600 staff members and enrolls over 36,000 full-time undergraduate and graduate students. The university holds over 2.5 million volumes of Chinese and foreign language printed books and 8.77 million electronic books. It has established a "National Model Digital Archives Room" and has been recognized as a demonstration school for smart campus construction in Henan Province.
